LN Noranda

Noranda is one of our personal favorites. She has that wonderful classic look and has settled in so well with us. When we first saw her we knew she would retire with us. From the old original imported bloodlines, her beginnings trace back to the very beginnings of miniature donkeys in America. A solid pedigree from foundation stock and the earliest registered donkeys in the country…

PEDIGREE: old established bloodlines of the Belleau herd, the great Luigi, Pearl Bailey, Jennie Sam, Dominic, Mary & Cristofo Colombo (whom we are told was the 1^st miniature donkey born in America)

ATTITUDE: sweet personality…fantastic mother…a great addition to our program

Update:  June 2010 Noranda surprised us with a smoky black! (who would’ve thought) little girl by 758′s Red Pride, Champion Jack and Best of Breed at the 2008 San Antonio Stock Show.  See Raspberry Ripple on our 2010 foals page.

She is currently in foal to Circle C Main Event. We can’t wait to see what outstanding offspring this pairing will produce.  Look for this foal summer 2011.

Update: Noranda’s granddaughter, Hill Country Mini’s Spitfire placed 1^st in the Yearling Jennets at the SDMS Texas Shootout and was 2009 high seller at the Great American Miniature Donkey Sale.
