Brayberry’s Russian OliveJuly 2011 update: Olive performed in her first show at The Great Celebration Mule and Donkey Show in Shelbyville, TN. She placed 4th in the yearly jennet class and we are very proud of her. August 2011: Olive’s second show, Ozark Empire Fair
She’s here! Our second foal of the 2010 season and of course absolutely adorable. She’s from our smallest jennet, Ruth and she’s TINY. Time will tell if she goes wooly like dad. Olive has interesting color and markings, a beautiful silvery gray with a dark black stripe on the top and BOTTOM! Her ventral stripe is huge and very black. With her deep rich black markings she is apparently a black based gray-dun (as opposed to brown-based like most).
PEDIGREE: MGF Gorky Park, Hartman herd genetics, Little Motown ATTITUDE: a definite people donkey…as lovable as they come!

Updated pictures February 2011 (10 months old). Olive is appearing to be semi-wooly and has gorgeous color. We do not have many gray donkeys but wouldn’t mind having more if they were all as pretty as Olive!
